An important message for Travel Agents
As you know, Spanish Heritage Tours has had a long standing relationship with the travel agent community. Since our inception, you have been continually
supportive not only of the Spanish Heritage Tours concept, but of the tours we’ve developed as well.
You may not be aware that several years ago, SHT began operations within the Club ABC Tours family. Because Club ABC Tours had strong buying power in Europe
and elsewhere, this synergy benefitted both SHT and the agency community it served. As we now further evolve, it has become apparent that in this highly
competitive travel environment, a focus on one niche product restricts us from the growth opportunities we need to explore.
As a result, we are broadening SHT’s focus by offering the full range of Club ABC Tours product to SHT clients. As part of this transition, we have
established a procedure which will allow your SHT clients to take advantage of Club ABC’s full global product range (including the Spanish Heritage tours they
are used to taking) while continuing to pay agency commissions.
Effective immediately, SHT will make the following adjustments in our operations:
- We will offer your clients access to the 200+ Club ABC Tours packages
- We will accept your reservations for any of those programs and provide your
clients with a membership to Club ABC Tours (at a nominal additional charge)
- Call 888 TOURS ABC (888-868-7722) for information or reservations or use the
link on this page to access tour information on the
Club ABC Tours website
- All client travel documents will become Club ABC Tours documents
- We will provide accredited travel agents with the following (per person)
commissions (these have been calculated on the total tour price, including the
air component):
a. On tours up to $1,500 pp – a $75.00 pp commission
b. From $1,501 to $3,000 pp – a $100.00 pp commission
c. Over $3,000 pp – a $200.00 pp commission - Regrettably, we can no longer quote on FIT requests. Only pre-packaged tours
will be sold
We believe that these changes in their entirety will provide you, the travel agent, with a greater opportunity to sell, while benefitting your clients.
